Juliet Ball
Juliet Ball's practice remains deeply rooted in functional ceramics, shaped by a wide range of influences including Japanese, Chinese, and Korean porcelain, as well as Amerindian and Portuguese black-fired ware. Working exclusively by hand, she throws and finishes each piece individually, creating her own glazes from natural raw materials and firing her work in reduction in a gas kiln. Juliet established Cloonmore Pottery with husband and CLAN stockist Cormac O'Neill.
