The knit bandana is loosely knit to produce a light-weight fabric that will insulate when rolled up, or be breathable when loosely tied.
The triangle shape can be folded and worn various ways - Kelsey's favourite is as a front tie neckerchief with the point of the triangle facing down the back.

A note from Kelsey: Wool is naturally antibacterial and does not need to be washed often. Before storing for longer periods of time, or as needed, hand wash in room temperature or lukewarm water using natural detergent or eco dish soap. Gently press out excess water by rolling up in a towel and pressing. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry.
